The exterior landscape was carefully considered to ensure accessibility to all. This included level-entry thresholds into the hotel, ramped transitions between levels and expansive open spaces.

Located on the edge of Jersey's National Park ecological protection was an important consideration. Ecological measures included the construction of hibernaculas to provide shelter and safe hibernation spaces for amphibians and reptiles.
